It's a hard life

Latest Comic:
Chapter 10: Page: 70
Chapter 10: Page: 70

Robin is ten years old and travels through Kanto with her pokémon to find a place to call home. This is a story about struggle, survival and friendship in a cruel world.

This is a Nuzlocke comic. Contains swearing, violence and death. And sometimes some gore.

Updates are sadly quite irregular but I have no plans on giving up on it anytime soon!

Why there are no new pages

All right. Just wanna say that no I am not dead, and no this comic is not going on any permanent hiatus.

Yes - finals are over (and I finally sorted out moving into a new flat so that took time and effort too). And yes - I have been working on this comic too.

However, not only did it take a few weeks for us to get a broadband for our flat, but my laptop adapter broke down a few weeks back and it's taking me longer than expected to get a new one that actually works (urgh, third parties). Also, the scanner I've been using for this comic has been the one situated at my art school, which is, obviously, not available for me at the moment. There are some other scanners around other uni-facilities, though they're not as good. I've been spoiled with a mega-expensive but awesome scanner so down-grading it sorta huuurts. But I will get to it when I can actually use my computer again.

So please, be patient. Updates will come.

I seem to get the same questions over and over again ... so I suppose it was inevitable. And today, the day has come for me to create my very first FAQ! So. If you have any questions about how often I update, what materials I use or whatever, have a look. And if you're curious about something else, send me a PM (or bombard the comments scetion, I guess that works too).

About summer and such

Hey there. It's been one and a half months now. Though to be honest it feels like much longer. I just want to put up some evidence that YES I am alive and NO I still don't plan on quitting.

But. Also to give some heads up. Like you might suspect, Uni finals are over for now and the summer break is coming. If you've been following the comic over the last two summers (I can't believe this comic is 2 years old already!!) you might know that summer does NOT mean weekly updates. At all. But for all the new readers: I usually travel around and visit old friends and such over summer. I do draw a lot during this time (I'd say that like 70% of the comic has been drawn and coloured during the last two summers) but often lack the equipment (scanner and photoshop) to actually upload it. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your patience.

I have not coloured much in a while but I have been able to draw quite a bunch of pages (which I think is first priority). Just so you know. Also ... I do not really want to put too much pressure on myself with this. The comic must be fun to draw! When pressure gets in the way, that's when the comics end (I've seen so many comics .. and nuzlockes ... die out because of this). Anyway.

Hope you all have a good summer!

Computer problems! (EDIT)

This is sorta awkward, but two weeks ago I said I was gonna try to update very second week. Well, that's not going to happen because 1. schoolwork. 2.My life is a mess. 3. My computer is being a douche and shuts itself off if I use photoshop for more than five minutes (and then it doesn't work properly anyway) or when I do other tasks which requires some effort (like you know, watching youtube videos or gifs). It's sorta my own fault really which makes me feel stupid. But I guess it's time to replace the little bugger anyway as it's 5 years and on life-support. But I dunno when that's gonna happen, so until then, no updates I'm afraid. :C Really sorry about this, but I hope you understand.

EDIT: Ah, again about the donation. It's not necessary guys, I have money enough to get a new laptop. The problem is this: I live in Wales at the moment and so the only laptops available will be of the British kind. I am however not British but Swedish and I will not get a laptop that would miss the very important letters that are å, ä and ö.

I will however visit Sweden in a few weeks and I plan to resolve the matter then. But thank you for your concern and even the suggestion is so generous I don't know what to say. I'm really sorry about this. I really am.
