Having a lot of pages drawn in advance is very handy, but coming back to them like 1 or 2 years later really put some perspective on things and suddenly you don't feel all that clever about the writing/joke anymore. x) But oh well. Next part will be up in a week!

And also, I can't say how glad I am to hear how understanding you all are about my decision. Thank you, you're truly amazing readers.

Glad to see this comic continues! Honestly, this story is really good. I wonder if Robin's mother did come to the trial as well or if that was just a nightmare. Either way, Gary Oak is a jerk, he started this.

Poor kid...

That poor kid.

Its kinda funny and ironic how many people are actually condemning her for what happened.

She was reckless, yes, but as a human being, I´m pretty sure that her heart is more pure than all those hypocritical humans that are throwing shades at her, yet they probably have a lot of bad flaws on their own. Flaws that completely define them at their core, unlike Robin who is remorseful.

I´m really having my fingers crossed that she will get a good ending at the end of this comic.

I wanted to say this for a while, but never got around to it, I love this comic, I stumbled upon it one day and before I realized... I went and read it all from the start

What I love about your nuzlocke comic is that you threw the main premise through the window, Robin didn't care for badges, or becoming a champion, she just wants to survive in this cruel world where people picking a fight on-sight is the norm.

Yeah, it's a shame that you're ending it, but you know what? I don't think you could have chosen a more perfect way to end it, by having this final arc of the main team rescuing Robin, I find that far more powerfull than having yet another story of facing the elite 4 (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Anyways, looking forward to next week's update!

I admit that I was sad when I read that you wouldn't finish all the story but you have made an amazing job with this comic.

If it's you I'm sure you will give it a good end to Robin's adventure :) so go for it.

But don't stop drawing please! I really want to read more from you and as I have read from other comments I'm not the only one that thinks that way :)

I absolutely loved this update! I can't tell if that trial was an exaggeration of the past or just the manifestation of her dread, though. I'm assuming the latter because she isn't dead yet, as blunt as it is to say that. I've been re-reading this comic twice in the past month and I honestly can't get enough (although I stopped midway through chapter 11 because reasons).

A quick suggestion

reply

@Qlock: hey, it's me again. The guy who kept giving you suggestions. Could you imagine if Gary's middle name was "assbag" "fucking" or "dickhead"? That would be something. Anyways, if you're not having as much fun with your comics, just keep in mind that it's probably not that you don't like doing it anymore, but rather that you're having trouble with schedule. Take a break for a while, or simply work on it when you feel like it. Nobody says you HAVE to have a deadline, it just helps organize things better. Remember: stress WILL get to you, and if not handled, can become a MAJOR problem. But, you can deal with this. You don't have to end the comic if you don't want to. But... if it really does have to come to that... please, type up your original plans as a movie script and post them elsewhere on the site. Many people will thank you, and that may give you back your inspiration to work on this. Keep up the good work!

P.S. Why is it that I always make these so long?

@Malnox: I know you mean well, so sorry if this comes off as a bit harsh.

I have literally been taking a break from this comic for almost a year (or more?) to work on other things. I am pretty stress free at the moment and feeling quite good. And yes, I need to set deadlines and organise it. If I was only going to work on it when I 'felt like it' the comic would end right here, right now.

Because there always something I'd rather draw than this (for someone who has a 600+ pages comic about pokemon, I really DO NOT enjoy drawing pokemon that much).

A long comic will always feel tedious at times - but the satisfaction of having completed something is what pushes me through to continue. To actually have an end in sight have made it easier for me to sit down and work (I've been working almost every day on it for the past 2 weeks!).

And yes, I will probably type up everything I had planned after the end (maybe with little illustrations too). :)

Poor Robin. She was in over her head from the start. I do hope the comic will have some happiness in store for her by the end.

Truly one of the greatest nuzlockes I've had the honor of reading. I completely agree with your decision, I know you will end this in a very high note. Congratulations on making it this far! As a fellow artist, I can say I admire you so much and I'd love to make comics like yours. Your comic is fantastic.
